Upgrade StorageZotero taskbar icon stays highlighted permanently on Windows 11
I'm encountering a persistent issue with the Zotero icon on my Windows 11 taskbar. Whenever Zotero receives a notification, the taskbar icon gets highlighted. However, even after I click the icon to open Zotero, clear all notifications via the bell icon, and switch focus to the Zotero window, the highlight never disappear*—it remains until I fully exit Zotero from the taskbar right-click menu or restart Windows Explorer.
