Zotero iPad OS sync issue after disabling and re-enabling automatic attachment saving
Debug ID: D686920464
What happened: The WebDAV server I use for file storage was down over most of the weekend, so to enable item saving, I switched off automatic file attachment in the iPad app settings. Today the service is back, so I’ve switched the setting back on. There were only two attachments that I added manually, but both of these failed to sync properly between the iPad and the desktop (latest betas on both devices). Deleted the attachments and re-added them on the desktop and finally everything looked fine. However, I keep getting an error message in the iPad Zotero app that 426 files failed to sync. When checking some of these, all are old items, and all are available offline on both the iPad and desktop. Everything looks OK, except for the error message.
