snapshots accumulating - how to delete efficiently ?

I had left "automatically take snapshots from webpages" on, and now I have over 400 snapshots; and as nowadays for openaccess, these snapshots can represent whole articles, some of them are quite big. When searching for *.html in zotero/storage I have >500Mb of snapshots. And actually I don't need them.
Is it save to just delete all *.hmtl files in the storage folders ? But this leaves all of the Zotero items in place, just that the reference to the file will be broken.
Can I mass delete them from within Zotero ?
Or is there a way to clear the database of items which have lost their link ?

You can do a Quick search for Snapshot in 'Title, creator, year'. Select the first Snapshot returned, then Crtl-A to select all of them. You can then move all of them to the trash. An Advanced Search for title can do the same. Quick search for html in 'All fields and tags' should also work.

(I have cleared out my named Snapshots recently using a range of techniques so I can't easily test each approach again to be sure they all work)

    * From the other thread, I see you have a linked files scheme - so you could alternatively move all html Snapshots (selected as above) to your linked-files folder using Zotmoov's right-click Move Selected to Directory (add html to its Allowed File Extensions list). Allow Zotero to rename them at the same time, so that they get a sensible name, the same as their item's other attachment files (to ensure that, in Zotero's Config Editor look for extensions.zotero.autoRenameFiles.fileTypes and append to it the string: text/html).
