Upgrade StorageProblem with syncing: "component returned failure code"

I received the above error code when trying to create a successful sync with the Zotero server. In particular, I was trying to "reset" my sync with the "restore from Zotero server" option. The reason I was doing this was that I am a member of a group library that was created by someone else before before either of us members of the group had purchased any file storage space. Recently, I purchased storage space and wanted to allow all of the group's associated files to be stored there. So the original group owner transferred ownership to me in hopes that the files would upload and be assigned to my storage space. We had some trouble with this, and the original owner had to delete our original group library (which didn't have any files associated) and re-copy all of our group's data and files from her personal "My Library" collection (which mirrored the group collection but also contained the associated files). After she did this and synced, then all of the group's collection and associated files did appear when I logged into Zotero via the web and looked at our group's collection. My local computer, however, seemed not to understand how to synch this group collection now and did not seem to be able to draw the associated files down to my local computer. So that's when I opted to do a "reset" as mentioned above, and that's when I got this error. Help would be appreciated.
