iPad not able to retrieve synced file on WebDAV D435682100

I have had webDAV set up with Nextcloud for a while, with no issue. However, now I can't seem to download the files I put in my library (on my computer) on my iPad. I have checked the Files not syncing article, and I have the files on my computer locally, I also see the corresponding .prop and .zip files on Nextcloud, and get no Sync error on my iPad.

I have tested it with several files, that have been added to my library anywhere between 3 years ago and tonight, all with the same results. Thank you!

    The request timed out.
    An OPTIONS request to the server is timing out. That's all we can tell you.

    I have absolutely no idea what that means ... I have the same settings in Sync on my iPad than on my computer. I used to have the same App Password from Nextcloud for both, thought that might be the problem and generated a separate one for the iPad, to no avail (I did this before starting the discussion in the forum).
    The URL is the one provided by Nextcloud for WebDAV. I do not know any OPTIONS request and would not even know where to specify one. Would you know any way I could debug this?

    We can’t provide support for third-party WebDAV servers, sorry.
