HELP: Restore older version of papers sync

Hello all,

I had done a lot of work with a bunch of papers in a folder including adding tags and sorting them. Then I opened zotero on my other computers. Not only did it NOT update the tags that I had created but it synced over all of the work that I had done.

Please please help.

1) Why did zotero not update the tags as it was syncing so that the two apps reflected exactly the same content?
2) How to I revert back to the old work that I completed last night?
