Differences:
1) there is no dot or comma when referencing in text (Harman et al 2008)

In bibliography (scientific articles):
2) there is and before the last author
3) no dot after the last author
4) no dot after the year
5) magazine name is in italics
6) there is no semicolon after volume number and volume number is in bold
Example: Smith G, Smoke G and Smile P 2009 This is the title Radiol. Oncol. (in italics) 42 (in bold) 93-101

For chapters:
7) see 2-4
8) there is no information about the book except the title, which is in italics
9) publisher data are in parentheses ()
10) pp instead of p.

For books:
11) see 2-4,9
