Split screen suddenly disappeared.

I'm using Zotero on a Lenovo Tab. While I was using it, the split screen suddenly disappeared, probably due to some misstep on my part. I even tried deleting and reinstalling the app to restore the split screen, but it didn't revert to the previous split screen mode.
