Upgrade Storageyou must insert a citation before performing this operation error
I have checked every single forum post related to this.
I am trying to import my word docx to google doc and have the zotero plugin recognize the citations and convert them to google doc format.
I have checked all the usual suspects.
Yes my doc has citations,
yes they were exported using the "switch word processors" option in Word.
Yes i have saved the doc as a docx and not some other format.
Now when I open the doc in google docs (yes I see the blue text boxes that represent all my citations) and hit refresh with the Zotero plugin I am met with the
"you must insert a citation before performing this operation" error.
Any help would be appreciated. This has been incredibly frustrating to deal with!!
Another detail is that when I export the doc in word I am hit with a vague error box "Zotero has encountered an error" but it still converts correctly once I hit ok.
Can find nothing about this error as it is so vague.
Otherwise the citations work properly in Word. I am able to edit them, I am able to insert my bibliography. it is just exporting to google doc that seems to break.
