Issues with full storage -- stuff getting deleted?

Hello, I am hosting a shared group library for my research team (with a 2 GB storage plan). However, my storage is now showing as full, and it seems to have resulted in items from my personal library getting deleted (things have definitely been deleted, but I'm unclear on if this is the cause).

A few questions:

1. Is this a known issue, where items added to group storage can result in deletion of other items? How can I recover the items in my personal library that were lost?

2. Can I transfer the ownership of the group project to another account?

3. If I transfer ownership, would I still need to have enough storage to host everything on the shared drive, or could I do a partial sync to save storage?

  • 1. No, Zotero never deletes items if you're out of storage space. (Syncing of library data is always free and unlimited anyway.) Whatever you're seeing, it wasn't that.

    2. Yes, from the group settings online.

    3. Not sure what you mean by "shared drive". If you're talking about local disk space, you can set Zotero to download files "as needed" from the Sync settings.
