Upgrade Storage5s delay before “New Collection” / “New Subcollection” dialog appears with large collection

Hi, I’ve tried migrating from Zotero 6 to Zotero 7 multiple times, but I kept reverting to Zotero 6 due to severe slowdowns related to collection creation/manipulation. I'm trying again now because I want to continue using Zotero 7 in the long term.
In Zotero 7, opening the creation dialog for new collections is consistently slow in my library (very large number of collections/subcollections). When I right-click a collection in the left pane and choose “New Collection…” or “New Subcollection…”, Zotero takes about 5 seconds before the small dialog window appears. This happens every time. It feels like the delay may come from building the full “Create in:” parent selector (listing the entire hierarchy) before showing the dialog. The delay occurs even when creating a subcollection under the currently selected parent (i.e., I’m already in the correct location).
I also experience similar slowness when using “Move To” and “Copy To”. This seems related to existing reports about freezes/slowness when Zotero needs to build a collection list such as “Add to Collection” with many collections.
I tested Troubleshooting Mode (all add-ons disabled) and the issue remains. I also set extensions.zotero.naturalSorting = false with no improvement.

EDIT: using Actions and Tags, I run a script that creates a subcollection without building the full “Create in:” parent selector, which successfully removes the delay.
