Chicago Manual of Style, 18th edition shortened notes and bib

Zotero is not italicizing the titles in my footnotes. How can I fix this?

    could you give an example? Do the same titles appear in italics in the (full) notes version of the style?

    Nevermind- I was confusing the in-text/ footnote formatting for journal citations with book citations!
    All is working well.
