Problems saving from Scopus

I am having problems downloading via Scopus when selecting multiple citations from search results. I have the latest versions of zotero and Firefox.

[JavaScript Error: "Error: Permission denied for <http://www-scopus-com.libezproxy.open.ac.uk>; to get property HTMLDocument.location from <http://www.scopus.com.libezproxy.open.ac.uk>." {file: "file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Lizzy/Application%20Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/gicnpx2f.default/zotero/translators/Scopus.js" line: 0}]
  • Do you get that even when you are not using your university proxy?

I don't think I have Scopus access and I don't use a proxy, so I can't troubleshoot this very well, but my suspicion is that this is caused by an odd interaction with the proxy.

@Dan: Do translators execute in the security context of the page they're scraping? If so, could interaction with a proxy server cause something like this?
  • I only have access to Scopus via my university proxy so I can't try it any other way. The university proxy doesn't seem to cause problems with the other sites I try, although Science Direct can be temperamental.
