WebDAV attachment sync shows PDF but cannot open (TestFlight beta inaccessible)

I’m having an issue with Zotero WebDAV attachment syncing and I’m a bit stuck.

I use WebDAV for file syncing. In my Zotero library, PDF attachments appear to be synced correctly — the attachment shows up in the web library interface — but when I try to open or download the PDF from the web library, it fails or does nothing. The attachment looks like it exists, but it’s not actually accessible.

What I’ve tried
• Verified that my WebDAV credentials and storage quota are correct
• Re-linked / re-synced attachments
• Restarted Zotero and re-synced multiple times
• Confirmed that metadata sync works normally

I found several forum posts suggesting that this issue is fixed or improved in the Zotero beta / TestFlight version on iOS.

However, I’m currently unable to access TestFlight beta builds at all due to an Apple ID verification issue on my device. Even after switching Apple IDs and reinstalling TestFlight, I cannot receive verification emails or get the invitation code.

Because of this, I’m looking for alternatives or confirmations:
• Is this a known WebDAV issue in the current stable release?
• Has it been confirmed as fixed in beta versions?
• Is there any workaround that does not require TestFlight?
• How can I receive a invitation code?
