Lost most of literature after new update and a sync from mobile

Hi, after the latest update and syncing from an android mobile device, I lost many of the literature where I highlighted and made notes. I don't know if update or sync was the culprit. Is there a way to retrieve my files?

Only a handful of items in your library have been deleted in the last couple months, but many items were deleted on September 20th.

Neither updating nor syncing a new device would delete your data, but if you deleted data by mistake in September and just synced a device now, Zotero would pull down those deletions. If you had data on a given computer within the last 2 days, you may be able to restore from one of the automatic backups that Zotero makes.
