Limited options to resolve duplicates

Why is the "Duplicate Items" tab ridiculously limiting? I like the function to help identifying entries with incorrect doi/ISBN (usually from the browser extension getting confused), but there should be an option to manually edit the duplicate data fields. In the current implementation of Zotero, I have to look at the duplicates, then do a separate search in my library to manually edit the incorrect entry.

    You can select individual items in the Duplicate Items view/collection (we wouldn't call it a tab) using alt+click and then edit them.
