New laptop - new username by mistake and incorrectly copied library
Hi!
An IT-guy helped me install Zotero on my new laptop and moved the library by using an export-function. By mistake a new username has appeared and when I tried to delete the library and copy/paste the old library using a thumbdrive, the program says it's synched to another user.
What is the best solution for me? I want my old library, with all my pdf-files.
Thanks for your kind support.
Jenny

Upgrade Storage
1) He shouldn't have made you a new account.
2) Export isn't a proper way to transfer a library between computers.
You want to copy the original data directory from the old computer to the correct location on the new computer, as explained on the linked page. It sounds like that might be what you did with the thumb drive. If you see all your data and files now, and when you try to sync it warns you that the library is associated with your old account, all you need to do is switch to using that old account instead, and then it will sync normally.
