ScienceDirect fails to import PDF
I cannot import PDF files from ScienceDirect anymore.
Tested on:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2950360425000117
Zotero Connector 5.0.190: Debug ID D1942013906
Chrome Version 142.0.7444.176 (Build officiel) (64 bits)
Zotero 8.0-beta.17+0748b0975 (64-bit): Debug ID D631568462
I get a Zotero window trying to open a link, with the old Zotero icon:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u265723/hvrrlwv1dmh7ydihpnfl.png
In Firefox:
Zotero Connector 5.0.189beta2: Debug ID D858050001
Firefox 146.0 (64-bit)
Zotero 8.0-beta.17+0748b0975 (64-bit): Debug ID D1838942615
With Firefox, it tries opening the window in Firefox instead.

Windows 11
Upgrade Storage
Also Windows 11.
I can still download or read the PDF by clicking on "View PDF".
For the moment, to get them, I "Save to Zotero" once from the webpage, and a second time from the PDF, then I merge both in Zotero's main window.
Thank you.
The blank pop-up opens after a longer time and closes after maybe one minute. After that, "ScienceDirect Full Text PDF" becomes red, indicating a failure.
They will probably need more details about your problem, as I did in my first post above.

Maybe it will work later.
Using a proxy breaks the download of PDF files for ScienceDirect.
