Upgrade StorageTaking math notes

I downloaded Zotero today and reading and taking (mainly math and stat) notes.
My problem is I can't find how to make math equations render there. To be precise, I am reading paper and try to take notes on it by adding equations.
I tried both $notes$ and $$notes$$ and it doesn't render in both.
I assumed it is possible because I saw it in documentations.

adamsmithYou can not use LaTeX in annotations, only in notes
