Non-pdf linked files?

Hello all,

I've just used Zotmoov to send all my new pdfs to my dropbox Zotero folder, as I used to do Zotfile; I hadn't yet noticed that Zotfile was no longer active, and noticed my hard drive was filling up.

However, I noticed that I still have ~2 Gb worth of a zotero storage file in my computer outside of Dropbox, and after some sleuthing I figured out it was the non-pdf attachments such as sound files and images.

Is it not possible for these to also be (automatically) linked, inside the same subfolders as the PDFs, in the dropbox? Do I need some other plugin?

Thank you in advance!

Just add their file extensions to Zotmoov's "Allowed File Extensions". That will then apply to future files downloaded by the Zotero Web Connector (or Zotmoov's Attach New File). For existing files in local Zotero storage that you now want to convert to linked files, use right-click Zotmoov: Move Selected to Directory (which also obeys Allowed File Extensions). You can select multiple items to do that with.

If however the image files in local storage are images you have pasted into notes ("note images"), AFAIK there is no way to convert those to linked files. They will always live under Zotero\storage (and thus consume online Zotero storage space if file syncing is turned on).
