[Android Feature Request] Allow adding comments while annotation tool is active
Hi,
First of all, thank you for your work.
When reading a paper, I frequently need to highlight and comment. The workflow is as follows:
- I select the highlight tool.
- I highlight the text.
- I deselect the highlight tool.
- I tap the text to add a comment.
- I tap "add comment" to bring up the keyboard.
- I tap "Done".
- I tap the highlight tool again.
- I highlight the text.
And so on, every time I highlight and comment on text.
This isn't a smooth workflow, considering that highlighting and commenting are common when reading a paper.
I suggest the following improvements:
1. With the highlight tool selected, allow to comment on the text with a tap. In other words, allow adding comments while annotation tool is active
2. The keyboard should open automatically, without having to tap "add comment" to open it.
I also support the suggestion of a "next page button". It's true you can turn pages by tapping the margins, but to do that you have to deselect the annotation tool.
Basically, with this workflow you have to keep selecting and deselecting the annotation tool constantly. My idea is that, with the highlight tool selected, you should be able to both comment on highlighted text and turn pages.
Thank you very much!
