Bug: Annotations disappear in Android app when toggling screen mode

When adding annotations in the Android app, I realized that some of them (not all) disappear when changing the screen mode, e.g. from dark to bright. When I change back to dark, I can see them again. However, once I closed the app, the annotations are completely gone, both from the app and from my Computer, which is synced with my tablet. There is nothing unique about the affected annotations, simple underlines or highlights, and not all of the recently added annotations are gone. It happens randomly.
Is this issue known to anyone? The fact that this occurs randomly is really annoying as I cannot make reliable annotations.

I am using the version 1.0.0-186 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ with Android v15.
  • After having observed this now for a little longer, it seems that the described behaviour is independent of toggling the screen mode.
Additionally, the annotations partially disappear even if I just close the file and re-open it without leaving the Zotero app.
It seems to me like the information is not reliably saved in the database.
Note that I use the native Zotero sync only for the database. My files are accessed via WebDAV. Also, making annotations on the computer works reliably.
Any hints or thoughts highly appreciated :-)
