sharing bibliographic info, but not pdf content

I see that you can opt not to include notes when sharing your library. can you opt to not share attached pdfs? a lot of my pdfs are from purchases sources, and I would rather not make them available. I'm fine with making available bibliographic information, of course.

Anyone know if one can limit this, or if this is a default?

    I'm pretty sure pdfs of your individual library are never shared by default - but maybe someone can confirm that to be safe.

    Only the ones in a group - and then only if you use Zotero storage - are available from the web.

    You only get access to attached files in a personal library if you are the owner of that library and are logged in. For groups, you can only have file syncing on private or "public closed" groups (so only groups that have owner controlled membership) and only members can get access to those files.
