Upgrade StorageGlobal tag rename updates Zotero but not PDF built-in reader pane
Issue:
Renaming a tag globally (via tag selector) updates it in Zotero’s item list and tags pane, but not in the PDF reader’s sidebar tags. The old tag name stays visible until the PDF is closed and reopened.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open an item with attached PDF and a tag (e.g., old-tag).
Open the PDF in the reader.
In tag selector: right-click old-tag → Rename Tag → new-tag.
Tag updates in Zotero UI (item list, right pane).
In PDF reader sidebar: still shows old-tag.
Close and reopen PDF → now shows new-tag.
Expected:
PDF reader tags update instantly after global rename.
Workaround: close/reopen PDF.
Is this a known UI refresh bug?
