Zotero connector not working

My Zotero connector is not working, neither on Chrome nor on Safari.
When I go on a webpage (ex: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0969996103002833 )
and I click the Zotero connector, nothing happens.
Furthermore, the Zotero button does not look the way it usually does when I go on a webpage of a scientific article.

I tried reinstalling Zotero and Zotero connector and restarting my Macbook, but it doesn't work.

The debug ID is D566507917.

I still have MAcOS Mojave 10.14.6, but I don't want to update unless it's absolutely necessary.

What version of Chrome are you running?

Hi,

I am using Chrome Version 116.0.5845.187 (Official Build) (x86_64).
This is the highest I can get with MacOS Mojave.

That's an outdated version of Chrome from August 2023 that we no longer test with or support, and a recent change would've broken compatibility. We always require the current version of Chrome, which is also necessary to keep you (and the internet more broadly) safe while browsing the web.

The version of Safari in Mojave hasn't been updated in 2021 and should not be used to browse the web.

We may be able to fix this in an upcoming update, but you should update to the latest version of macOS your computer is compatible with and then update Chrome.
