how can i rank the paper according to the note time?

in previous discussion, i ask a question, how to rank the paper according to the modified time. i find that the paper time and the note time are different, as shown in the picture. so i wonder can we rank the paper according to the note time?

in endnote, the paper time and note time are the same. i hope zotero can also do this.

You can create a saved search with Item Type - is - Note and then sort the notes by e.g. date modified, where you can then access their parent items.

thanks a lot. i hope zotero can have a better, easier way to achieve this in the future. just like the endnote

A workaround is using the third-party plugin with this script: https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags/discussions/532

It displays the latest modified time of an item and all its child items in the items list as a custom column.
