Upgrade StorageAdd link to file - zotero does not remember the path

I'm converting my Calibre library to Zotero and using the "Add link to file" feature repeatedly. However, it's frustrating that Zotero doesn't remember the path to the library, so I have to navigate to it again each time. Is it possible to fix this?
