App page navigation suggestion

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced accidentally touching the navigation pane at the bottom of the app while annotating. This happens to me quite frequently, and as a result, I often end up on a different page and have to search for where I originally was. It would be great if a future version could adjust this feature so that the page navigation pane doesn’t automatically appear when I touch the screen. Thank you!
  • You're talking about the iOS app? The Android app? (People will always assume you're talking about the desktop app if you don't specify, ideally in your thread title.)

Note that you can annotate in full-screen mode, which hides the toolbar and page scrubber. So then you would only touch the scrubber accidentally if you first tapped the screen to leave full-screen mode and then tapped accidentally on the scrubber.
  • It's the iPhone app. I assumed that the Android app functioned the same way, and I forgot that Windows PC software are often referred to as "apps" now. That's a relatively new thing that I'll probably never get used to.

Anyway, yes, I can go to full-screen mode, but every time I press the screen, the scrubber (I assume that's the thing that is used to navigate between pages) reappears, and I can accidentally touch it again. It seems like an unnecessary feature given that there is a thumbnail navigate pane on the left of the screen.

The thumbnails tab isn't really for navigation — that's only available when the sidebar is open and that tab is selected. The page scrubber allows quick navigation at all times and shows you where you are in the PDF.
  • Nobody needs to navigate through a document that quickly while reading. Who flips back and forth between pages like that? On the rare occasion when you need to jump ahead or go back multiple pages, it would be better to have a place at the top of the screen to enter the desired page number, similar to most PDF viewers; this feature could also display the current page you are on.

I understand that you may not want to change this, but it would be helpful if the page scrubber were not positioned at the bottom of the screen, where I usually rest my hand when annotating.
