Cannot Sync and Computer Illiterate

Hi, I'm sure this is simply fixed, I'm just useless with computers. Basically I can't sync my library with the Zotero server. When I try I get this message

The Zotero sync server did not accept your username and password

Please help!

    In the Zotero toolbar (just above the list of bibliography entries, in Forefox), is a button that looks like a gear. When you click on it, you get a menu, including an item called "Preferences". Click on that and you get a dialog box where you can enter your username and password. If you don't yet have an account, you can click on the link 'Create Account' next to the username text box.

    I've had the same problem, and zotero generated for me the error code 1818809043. Don't know what this means. I do have a zotero account and can log in through the browser, but my zotero window keeps saying that the sync server does not accept my username or password.
