PDF reader issues
Hi! I'm using Zotero desktop on a Mac M1 Sequoia (15.6).
I'll try to explain the issue as well as I can. Any pdf I open, if I try to select anything, the selector just (for lack of a better description) freezes in place and any subsequent clicks are performed as if the mouse was never lifted.
So say the pdf has the string "abcdef" in it. If I place my mouse between c and d, click, then drag right, and release the click, I can select "def". Usually if I then click on "a", the selection should be cancelled. But not when I click on "a", Zotero selects "abc" for me, as if I have dragged my pointer to 'a' without ever releasing the click. This happens when I click on blank areas of the page too. If I press Esc the selection can be cancelled but then no clicks work until I restart the program.
I've tried restarting and reinstalling to no avail. And the point and click behaviour works just fine in other programs.
Would really appreciate any pointers!
