MacOS Safari extension does not work

Hello! Ever since I've dowloaded the latest Zotero update, the Safari extension stopped working - the icon does not appear at the toolbar (other extensions do). I have the latest Safari version and currently am using the latest Tahoe MacOS software.

I've tried reinstalling Zotero altogether, turning on and off the developer thing from this guide (https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/safari_compatibility#can_t_see_the_save_button_save_button_flickering). Nothing seems to be working, the icon is not there still.

What do I do? Thank you all in advance.
  • I'm afraid there's no other answer. The plugin gets registered by macOS, not by us, and if it's not working, that's a macOS bug.

    Make sure you have the latest version of Tahoe, delete the app from Applications, restart your Mac, redownload the app, and open the app. If the plugin doesn't appear in Safari after that, you may just need to use another browser with a more reliable extension framework.
