Upgrade StorageRename File function not working properly

I've been using Zotero for some time. I have version 2.0.3 running on FF 3.63. Recently, I've been having a problem with renaming linked files using the "Rename File from Parent Metadata" function. The file on my HD is renamed, but the link in Zotero is not updated -- the link remains to a (now non-existent) file with the old name. To correct this, I have to delete the old link and then add a new link to the renamed file. This started happening recently, for no apparent reason. The renaming function used to work just file. Is anyone else having this problem, and can anyone suggest a solution, please? Thanks.
