modify the drag n' drop function

Hello,

I would like to modify the drag 'n drop function.
For the moment it permites to drag n' drop references in different folders but it doesn't move the reference, it creates another copy in the target folder.
I want to modify it in order it to avoid creating copies of the reference when i put it in another folder.

What files do I have to modify?
May this problem find a solution in the next version? Is it planned in the roadmap?

    it doesn't actually create copies. Also, these aren't folders, but collections, which are different:

    I see but I would like to modify this function to give me the choice to just move a item in a collection without seeing it in the previous one.

    Can you answer to these questions:
    What files do I have to modify?

    I don't know - it's non-trivial in any case.

    definitely not in 2.0.4. I haven't seen any activity towards it in the 2.1 trunk, but that's still some month before release.

    yes, some key-drag combination is likely to be implemented at some point, though there is no reliable timetable.
