Two iPads but only one syncing

I have an old iPad and a newer one. Both synced okay til now when only the older one is synced with MacBook. Now on the newer iPad I am missing all pdfs loaded on Zotero last weekend. I spent eight hours loading pdfs in sub collections. What do I do? Please note I am not very technical.

Meaning you get an error trying to open the PDFs or you don't see some library items in the library on the iPad at at all?

The library items/pdfs I uploaded are completely missing on my newer iPad. They are fine on my iPhone and older iPad. All the sub libraries are empty. I would send you images but the paste, drop etc button below isn’t working for me.

As you can see the top one is fine, the bottom one not. That is the newer ipad.

Do the items shows up if you tap back to the libraries screen and go to settings → Debug Output Logging → Advanced → Start Full Sync Debugging?

This shouldn't be necessary, but we're currently investigating a bug that can cause some updates not to sync to iOS devices.

That’s fixed it. Debug D1049879974. Is it going to be okay going forward? I was going to switch to the newer iPad but am wondering if I need to hang on to the older one.

No, nothing to do with the specific device. It's just a bug in which certain actions in the app can result in missed updates. We're working to fix it.
