Zotero not allowing citation to be placed in paper

I am attempting to place endnotes within my paper. When I attempt to do so the bar comes up to type in the journal or book to site, however nothing will come up within the bar.
Since updating zotero I have had nothing but issues.

Is there a fix to this. I have attempted to sync, restart my computer, remove and reinstall. Nothing is working.

Please provide any fixes

When I click on "Insert Note" the "Quick Format Citation" bar appears. When I start to type in the title or author it will spin for a second but nothing appears.

Click Add/Edit Citation, not Insert Note. Insert Note is for adding Zotero notes to your document.
