Items Pane Problem

I have a problem with the items pane. When I select an item in my library, the information in the items pane does not appear with the item information at the top but, instead, appears to have scrolled down with the tabs heading first. To see the item information, I have to scroll up. I'm not sure how this happened but I'd like to fix it.
