Problem with the plug in with Mac

Hello,

I wanted to keep zotero 1.0 but when Firefox updates to 3.6.3, this version of Zotero becomes unusable => so I update when they propose zotero 2.0. It works but when i wanted to update the word processor plug in, it becomes difficult.

1) I couldn't see the zotero toolbar so I change the file from startup to démarre because I use a french version of WORD : I saw the toolbar
=> but when I click on it I had : this version is incompatible please check...

I uninstall the plugin several times and reinstall nothing

2) I tried with tools in Firefox and plugins preferences and try to reinstall the word components and now I have the message : "Zotero a rencontré une erreur lors de la mise à jour de votre document" I translate Zotero encounters an error during the document update

3) I uninstall all the plug ins and reinstall I had a message saying it couldn't install the zotero plug ing because of a file which was missing

4) I reinstall zotero 2.0 and all the plug ins after having removed everything. Now I have the same message than in 2)

What can I do now, knowing that I can't reinstall the version 1.0 because of firefox 3.6.3?

computer Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L31a)
WORD 2001
Zotero 2.0 with pythonExt and Zotero MacWord Integration 3.02.b
Firefox 3.6.3

  • Zotero MacWord Integration requires Word 2004 or higher. You'll need to upgrade your copy of Word, or downgrade Zotero and Firefox.
  • Er, right. What Simon said. I overlooked the version number.
