Debug ID 1865397085: failed to sync attachment to WebDAV (Koofr)
- On an iPad, I add an item to Zotero (e.g., share from the browser). It gets added.
- In Zotero (on the iPad), I pull down to trigger the sync.
- The PDF is not uploaded to the WebDAV server (Koofr).
- Zotero db syncs successfully, but the PDF is not in the computer (Linux). When trying to access it, I see "The attached file could not be found at the following path: (...) /CHKXL35F/(...)".
- On Koofr I can see that the directory is not present.
This has happened to me several times in the last two weeks, but it does not happen all the time; I've just added other PDFs that have synced just fine. Likewise, that same PDF, if added from the computer, is synced just fine.
What seems to help is adding another PDF to Zotero in the iPad to the same collection. This second PDF itself might not get uploaded, but seems to trigger the upload of the previous one. (I've repeated this right now three times in a row with three different PDFs, each of which failed to upload to Koofr the first time around, but was uploaded after a subsequent PDF was added on the iPad ---with this last PDF itself failing to upload).

I downloaded the beta build 397, and repeated the process. This is the sequence:
- add A to Zotero in iPad, pull down, verify PDF of A not in the desktop;
- add B to Zotero in iPad, pull down, verify PDF of B not in the desktop, but PDF of A is now in desktop;
- add C to Zotero in iPad, pull down, verify PDF of C not in the desktop, but PDF of B is now in the desktop.
This is the debug ID: D765117249.
- In the browser (Google Chrome in this case) I went to arXiv.
- Clicked on three different papers.
- In each of the iterations, in the browser tab for a paper, I tap on the square with the up-pointing arrow, which is on the right of the URL field (this is, I think, the way to access "Share"); this opens up a floating window and, in the very first row of options, I choose Zotero.
(I am not sure if I've experienced a similar issue when adding files that are locally stored in the iPad via the "+" icon + "Add File". I can try that if you want).
