I messed up my database. How do I fix it?

Ok, first my specs: I'm using an iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019 with macOS Sequoia 15.4.1. Zotero is the latest update.

I tried to redirect the data directory of Zotero to a NAS device I recently got. I got the error below, with either a "Quit" or "Check for Update" button as an option. Zotero closes automatically with either selection (after checking for an update with the latter). When I tried keeping the error box open and going into settings to correct the directory path, I can't click anything in the settings window. I can type in the search text field and then tab down to the "Data Directory Location" spot. But I can't highlight any of the buttons I need in order to change the directory.

How do I fix this? Thanks!

There was an error starting Zotero.
