Cannot remove parentheses after last update
With the last update of Zotero (8.0-beta.8+4ae1ea1da), I suddenly lost the ability to manually edit citations. I used to use this view to remove parentheses from things like in-text citations or footnotes:

The official documentation still has these old screenshots: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage
Now, there doesn't seem to be a way to click on the "Z" to find things like "classic view" or edit the citation format:

I've opened up new documents to test this with different citation styles, and can't seem to find any that allow me to insert in-text or footnote/endnote citations without parentheses.
I've seen older posts about editing a style by changing the prefix="(" statments to prefix="". I can do that in the style editor, but haven't been able to figure out how to apply that to my document. In addition, even if I figure that out, it seems like a pain to 1) do in every document and 2) will get erased if styles are updated.

The citation dialog was recently updated and the classic view has been removed. But it is possible to edit citations directly in the document once they are inserted.
