Request: Add jurisdiction for case law in Harvard (Cite Them Right)
Hello,
I primarily use the Harvard (Cite Them Right) style for my social research. I noticed that when citing case law, the jurisdiction of the court is not included in the output. For example:
Y.Y. v. Turkey (2015). Available at: https://hudoc.echr.coe.int/eng?i=001-153134 (Accessed: September 19, 2025).
But ideally I would like to see the jurisdiction as well, e.g.:
Y.Y. v. Turkey (2015). (ECtHR) Available at: https://hudoc.echr.coe.int/eng?i=001-153134 (Accessed: September 19, 2025).
Dudgeon v United Kingdom (1981) 4 EHRR 149 (ECtHR)
I understand that Cite Them Right doesn’t explicitly prescribe this, but since many researchers (myself included) work with international and comparative law, including the court/jurisdiction would be very helpful and wouldn’t break the CTR system.
Would it be possible to update the style so that jurisdiction is output for case law entries (perhaps as an optional field)?
Thank you!
