How to color bibliographic references?

Hello everyone,

I'd like to know if there's a way to colorize bibliographic citations inserted in the text. I think it would be very useful. Thank you.

You can turn the field coding for the Word fields to always be shown.

Thank you very much. However, I requested coloring and not highlighting (although this could be a workaround).

Coloring isn't possible. It's occasionally requested, but I don't think there's much of a chance of it happening any time soon.

I don't know if this is what she is referring to, but an increasing number of publishers are writing citations within the text in blue. A couple of examples from different publishers:

Would there be any way to do it? Any tricks in Word?

This would be done by the journal/publisher when typesetting the document (not your job, let's say, and they wouldn't use Word for that).
