Zotero 7 – Word plugin error: "Word could not communicate with Zotero"

Hi everyone,

I just updated to Zotero 7 and now I’m getting the following error in Word:

"Word could not communicate with Zotero. Please ensure Zotero is running and try again. If this problem persists, see https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting
"

The problem is that the link provided doesn’t exist anymore, and I can’t find updated documentation for Zotero 7.

Zotero is open and running when I try.

Word was restarted.

The plugin was reinstalled automatically with the update.

Still, the issue persists.

Has anyone else experienced this after upgrading to Zotero 7? Any ideas on how to fix it?
