Upgrade StorageCan't get "Retrieve metadata for PDFs" to work. Help please.
Hi. Really enjoying using Zotero. My problem is this:
For some reason Zotero will not find metadata for my "naked" PDFs. Every time I ask it to "retrieve metadata" the progress bar pops up but doesn't move. It just hangs there.
The PDF indexing is working fine. I can search for words contained in the PDFs I've added to Zotero. Also, I have added PDFs that others have been able to retrieve metadata for and still no luck. (For example, I can't get metadata for this PDF: http://www.samren.org/Research_Papers/doc/ADB%20Remittance%20Study.pdf) Every time it's the same thing: the progress bar pops up and doesn't move. Also, I looked at the error report page and my requests to "retrieve metadata for PDFs" doesn't seem to generate any reports. I spent a long time reading other forums on this topic, but can't figure out what is going on.
Any help/ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!
