Upgrade StorageZotero Connector (7.0.24) Safari Extension not working
Hi there. Long time user, first post (I'm sorry if I make no sense from now on):
On Friday I updated my laptop (macbook air running on 14.7.8 (23H730))'s Zotero to the latest version as encouraged by the prompt in the app, and soon noticed that my Z button on Safari (Versión 18.6 (19621.3.11.19.1, 19621)) had disappeared. I looked into my setup as another mac user suggested, and everything was on (the app was checked, even web developer options so unsigned extensions work). No button on sight (not even when configuring the tool bar, where all extensions button's are visible). I couldn't uninstall and install again as it would be uninstalling Zotero.
So today I did something now I'm starting to regret: I updated Zotero while Safari was open in the background. As Zotero restarted I saw how the button disappeared from the tool bar. In that desktop device (an older iMac; Sonoma 14.7.6 (23H626) with safari Versión 18.5 (19621.2.5.18.1, 19621)) the extension isn't even on the panel. I'm updating that browser as I write this, but I'm sure this won't solve the issue, as it has happened on the other computer using newer software.
So, I lost the button I use the most on my computer and I need your help.

Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't affect your data in any way.
