Sync Issue from PC in my hospital

Hello,

I am having issues with syncing my account using Zotero on my professional computer at my work, in a public hospital in France.

The report says :

[JavaScript Error: "WebSocket connection closed: 1006 "]

[JavaScript Error: "The connection was refused when attempting to contact wss://stream.zotero.org/."]

[additional errors removed — D.S.]

appName => Zotero, version => 7.0.7 (x64), os => Windows 10.0 19045, locale => fr-FR, extensions =>

My IT support says the URL (stream.zotero.org) is down therefore they can't do nothing about it.

    1) You're running a version of Zotero from October 2024. You should install the latest version from the download page.

    2) Error output is for Zotero developers, not for others to try to interpret. stream.zotero.org is not down — it's a WebSocket server, not a regular web server. It's also irrelevant here. If you're not able to make any network connections in Zotero, see Connection Error, and Zotero and Firewalls linked from there.

    Thanks a lot. I need to tell them to make the upgrade, since the update requires admin privileges. The connection error page is extremely helpful. And yes, I know it's a WSS but that's what they answered. Most definitely a proxy issue here. Kind regards, Pierre.
