The error occurred in the desktop version when I tried to open a file attachment from an item in a group library that I own. A message appeared: "A file synchronization error has occurred. Please try to synchronize again." However, when I access the attachment through the web library, it works fine—I can open, read, and download the file without issues. My Zotero plan includes unlimited storage. I have the desktop version installed on two PCs, which might be contributing to the problem.

Is this a cloud storage folder where you have your data? You can't do that.
