When I try to insert a citation into a word doc (on a Mac) the drop down menu just spins.

Hello.

I've had a few problems with Zotero recently and have installed and reinstalled it. When I am in a word doc and click on Zotero in the menu bar, then add/edit citation the window pops up. I type in the document or book I am looking for and it just spins. It doesn't come up with the original citation and therefore, it doesn't add it into the Word doc. If it matters, I am using MHRA 4th ed. Also, could someone from Zotero other than dstillman please answer. Thank you.

For the Word issue, can you provide a Report ID after it occurs? Does it happen if you select the library tab (not a PDF tab) and restart Zotero? There was a previous bug where the unending spinner could happen if a certain PDF tab was open, but that should have been fixed a while back.

Could you provide a debug id with this issue reproduced? We've gotten a few reports about this but I haven't been able to reproduce it yet myself.

Are you on 7.0.24? Does it still happen in an empty document? And does it still happen if all Zotero tabs (besides the main library tab of course) are closed?
