Upgrade StorageCannot install Word plugin
The Microsoft Word plugin is supposed to automatically install, but it didn't. I do not have Zotero in my toolbar. I even worked with my organizational IT and they were unsuccessful. Any suggestions? Here's a summary of our steps:
• Closed Word and re-tried installing the Add-in
• Verified the Word Startup folder (default)
• Checked user permissions and saw that user is owner of Word Startup folder and has Full Control
• Tried installing the plugin manually by following directions on Zotero.org docuemntation
o Opened the Zotero installation folder, copied the .dotm file to the STARTUP folder
o Restarted Word
• Uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero fully with a reboot after uninstallation
• Clicked on "enable content" when a warning came up about Add-Ins and the trust centre
• Checked the trust centre settings - Zotero add-in was active and installed
• Zotero still not showing up on the Word ribbon despite everything saying that it was successfully installed
