iOS on iPad Pro - Manual note creation not working?
I’ve just started using Zotero, I like it. But today, I tried and enter a manual note. (also tried a variety of other ways). I manually created it, and gave it a Title, and pasted in a note into the Abstract. I also tried typing a new note. There was no way to “save” the note, so I used the back button. The Note was shown in the list but when I opened it, it was empty. Was I supposed to then past the “Abstract” into that part of the note? Why did the title not appear? This happens when I try to save any note on my iPad. This is very frustrating and may lead me to not use Zotero. It’s a simple thing. Is this a bug? I captured it on video screen save if anyone wants me to upload it.

8stringPart 2: It appears that if I create a note, don’t save anything to it, not even a title. It then shows up as a blank note in my files, which I can open and *then* type information into. There appears no way to get back to any of the meta data in that note once created that way. This is reproceable and apparently a bug. Thoughts?

mvasilakHey @8string, please do share the video you took of the issue.

mvasilakIt seems that the submenu you used to create the note, the one from the "Add Manually" action shouldn't be there, sorry for that. It will be removed from future versions, as to not confuse users. You should create such notes from the "New Standalone Action", which clearly loads the note editor directly. Note items do not have editable metadata such as title or abstract. The title you see in a note item is actually generated automatically from the note contents.
